The Haunted Schoolhouse offers you the rare opportunity to face your deepest fears… your darkest thoughts… and the twisted night terrors that haunt your dreams.
In the Haunted Laboratory, meet the deranged Dr. Guttenheim, who for years has led a team of scientists in his mad pursuit of manipulating DNA and controlling genetics.
Sip on an ice cold beer before your haunted attraction tours. Beer before Fear will be on certain nights that serves alcohol specials between 6:00pm to 7:00pm before the Haunted Schoolhouse and Haunted Laboratory opens it doors for the evening. Regular priced alcohol will be served from 7:00pm to 1:00am. Must be 21 or over and present valid ID.
Before you enter the Haunted Schoolhouse and Haunted Laboratory attractions, experience the atmosphere and activities of our Midway! Enjoy photo ops, characters “on the loose”, seasonal vendors, merchandise, delicious concessions, and alcohol beverages.
The Parent Zone is a no cost area in the midway for parents to sit back and relax while they wait on their kids to go through the attractions.

Age range:
Due to the graphic nature, it is not recommended for small children, toddlers or babies. We have had young children go through and have a great time and adults who go through and are in tears! You’re the parent- you be the judge. A good rule of thumb is: if you wouldn’t bring your child to a PG-13 rated movie, it’s probably not a good idea to bring them to a haunted house.

The Akron Haunted Schoolhouse and Haunted Laboratory is located in Akron, OH approximately 1.5 miles East of interstate 77.
The attractions are located at 1300 Triplett Blvd near the Akron-Fulton Airport, the All American Soap Box Derby, the former Goodyear Blimp hanger and the former Akron Rubber Bowl (Former home of the Akron Zips Football).
