Headless Horseman Hayrides & Haunted Houses is located in Ulster Park, NY, part of the Historic Haunted Hudson Valley. The property incorporates over forty-five acres of naturally landscaped property that includes foreboding woods, surreal ponds, fruit orchards and more. Our attraction includes a one mile hayride, a labyrinth style corn maze, three professionally created haunted houses, three food concessions, and five gift shops.

The 250 year-old farm incorporates over sixty-five acres of naturally landscaped property including foreboding woods, surreal ponds, fruit orchards and more. Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses is a unique, immersive experience with a theme that changes each Halloween season. Featuring a theatrical one-mile hayride, a corn maze, and 7 haunted attractions:

  • Glutton's Diner & Slaughter House
  • The Horseman’s Tomb
  • Dark Harvest Corn Maze
  • Night Shade Nursery & Greenhouse
  • Dr. Dark's Black Spider Circus Sideshow
  • The Feeding presents “The Pain Killer”
  • Two Raven’s Manor, with skilled stunt actors and a magic-illusion side show starring Ryan Dutcher.

Headless Horseman continually evolves with unusual monsters, amazing illusions, stunning special fx, unique and original costumes, makeup, animations and frightening detail created by our sister company American Made Monster Studios. Only the courageous will survive the intense encounters with the infamous Headless Horseman.

The attraction also includes line actors, four themed gift shops: Magic Moon Gift Shop, Scare Ware, Fear Gear, and Phantom Photo, and five food options: Evil Eatery, Witch Hazels, Croaked Crow, The Coffee Cauldron, and Deadly Donuts. We employ over 350 actors and staff trained to provide a memorable and enjoyable evening for the whole family.

Hours open:
Tickets are sold based on time slots chosen during reservation. The first hayride of the night is at approximately 7 pm. The last hayride begins at approximately 9 pm.

To see everything, plan on approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours. Anticipate 3 hours on any Friday or Saturday night during October.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled hayride in order to allow time to check in and proceed to the boarding area.

Admission onto the midway is FREE
Scream Pass: $25.00 (surpass the lines and move to the front).

Age range:

Due to the nature of our attraction, this is NOT recommended for children under the age of 13 years old.

Children 8 (or younger) WILL NOT be allowed on any evening hayride, in the corn maze, or haunted houses.

Children 15 (or younger) MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Childrens' Days: Oct 13th and 27th with rain dates of Oct 14th and 28th from 11:30am to 3:00 PM. Please make reservations online and join us for this fun-filled event.
